Membership in the
Muskoka Association for Christian Education

All families applying for enrolment at Muskoka Christian School must also apply to become members in the association for either a Member or an Associate membership. All applications for membership are submitted to the Board for consideration.

Eligibility for membership to Muskoka Association for Christian Education (M.A.C.E.) is defined and explained below:

Members
Membership is open to any person 18 years or older who; 

    • is in agreement with the constitution, including the educational creed and basis of belief
    • agrees to abide by the objectives, bylaws and resolutions of the Association and its Board of Directors,
    • agrees with the personal statement of Christian faith,
    • agrees to enroll all eligible school age children at Muskoka Christian School.

Members are entitled to vote on finacial matters and on constitutional or by-law matters of the Association. In addition, they may vote for and are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors and all committees.

Associates
Associate membership is open to any person 18 years or older who;
  • is in agreement with the constitution, including the educational creed and basis of belief,
  • agrees to abide by the objectives, bylaws and resolutions of the Association and its Board of Directors.
    •

    Associate members do not vote nor are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors or as Chairperson of committees, they may serve on standing committees.
