Grade five,

Here are the expectations for the book report that is due February  9.


  1. Without mentioning every event, give a summary of the book you have read.

  2. Who is the main character of the book? Describe the character and back up that information with examples from the book. Make sure you have at least three examples.

  3. What is the setting of the story? Be sure to describe the setting in detail.

  4. Describe two conflicts in the book and then describe how they were resolved.

  5. Give your personal reaction to the book from a Christian perspective.

Grade three and four,

On January 24 you will give a oral presentation. It will be and item that you find in the news that you will present to the class. The following things need to be presented:

-important information from the article

-when it happened

-where you got the information...date...name of newspaper

-how does this affect your life

-how should a Christian react to this information.

Grade five,

On January 19 you will give an oral  presentation.  It will be an item that you find in the news that you will present to the class.  The following things need to be presented:

-important information from the article

-when it happened

-where you got the information

-how does it affect your life
